The criteria for the digital zines (a collection of personal stories) are: 32 pages and a minimum of 1500 words, 5 letters are to be incorporated into the book as shapes, engage in multiple mediums like dialogue, paper, ink, binding, typography, illustrations and photos, use only 2 ink colours ranging in transparency, create one typeface of my own design and use one typeface throughout the book (either Superclarendon or Futura).

I chose to base my zine around the concepts of dreams , nightmares and the surreal because I myself am interested in my own dreams and how weird and wild they can be.
The five letters I chose to incorporate into my digital zine are the letters 'Y', 'W', 'X', 'E' and 'N' mostly due to their straight lines and their 45 degree angles which would be useful for the very structured and grided layout I am going for.
The colours green and purple are the ones I chose because their colours convey tranquility and mystery, emotions that are often conveyed when experiencing or thinking of a dream or nightmare.
